Tips and Tricks : MapPoint 2002
Share Maps with Anyone Using E-Mail
In Microsoft MapPoint® version 2002, maps can easily be sent to e-mail recipients as images (if the recipient does not have MapPoint), or MapPoint files (if the recipient does). This is very handy for quickly sharing maps with colleagues, such as a demographic map, or family and friends, such as a map of a trip you plan to take.
To send a map as an image, on the File menu, point to Send To and click Mail Recipient (as Picture) .
To send a MapPoint file, on the File menu, point to Send To , and then click Mail Recipient (as Attachment) .
Editor's Note: You can also use the Select tool on the Navigation toolbar to select an area of the map instead of sending the whole map view. Remember that copyright rules apply to maps.
